Lovina tourist area is famous because of its beaches and dolphin habitat. Travelers who come to Lovina, mostly taking their time to see dolphins in their natural habitat. Curiously wondering how is it like?

To be able to see dolphins in their natural habitat, we have to rent a rowboat or a traditional boat. The traditional boats are readily available along Lovina Beach.
If you stay in the area of Lovina, boats booking can be done the day before. Around the existing hotels in Lovina area, such as on Laviana street,  there are many owners of boats who offer services to take the tourists to see dolphins in the waters of Lovina Beach.

Jukung owners will typically offer rates from 50.000 to 80.000 rupiah per person to ride the boats to see dolphins in the sea. The price is not fixed, depending your deal with the boat owner. Boat owners will typically offer you to rent a boat, for example, from 200.000 to 300.000 rupiahs or more, for a boat, with capacity of 5 to 6 passengers.

Beritabali.com got the opportunity to try the tour to see dolphins in Lovina, Buleleng . The day before, we booked a boat to take us out to sea the next day. We agreed on a price of 250.000 rupiahs to rent a boat, to take the five of us.

The next morning, the owner of the boat picked us up to the hotel in Lovina Beach neighborhood, at 05:30 pm. Although our eyes were so sleepy still, we followed him to the beach where his boat was ready to take us to see the dolphins.

Around 06.00 pm, we set out to sea to 'hunt' dolphins. After about an hour boating to sea, the hunting to see a herd of dolphins began. In the middle of the ocean there are dozens of boats with the same goal with us, to see a herd of dolphins appeared in the waters of Lovina, when the sun had risen.

Why we refer to as 'hunting', because it was likely 'hunting' dolphins to be seen from close range. If a herd of dolphins suddenly appeared in the south, the boat carrying dozens of tourists would directly move towards the gang in order to see dolphins up close.
