"I have 25 years pack, selling pork satay," said Pak Yan Bun, when met at the Jimbafest 2017, not long ago.

He served the pork satay with Tipat and sold only Rp15 thousand. It includes a typical Pak Yan Bun sauce and a small bottle of mineral water.
"If there is no event like Jimbafest, I usually sell in Munggu Badung area and also serve orders," he siad.
Every day, Pak Yan Bun claimed able to sell up to 1,500 skewers. Every day on average it takes 15 kilos of pork to make pork satay.
Pork Satay by Pak Yan Bun has customers from various circles, ranging from Balinese to residents outside Bali. Even satay boar is also popular with foreign tourists.
"There have been guests from Canada, China and the Netherlands ordering thousands of skewers for their party, some ordering up to 5,000 skewers, while my ability can make up to 10,000 sticks for a single order," he said.
From selling satay, Pak Yan Bun claimed have been able to support his family properly. Pak Yan Bun said he would continue to run the business of this pork satay. In addition to surviving, as well as for the culinary preservation of Bali. [wrt]
