Beritabali.com, Denpasar. Thursday (26/1), the largest democracy country in the world, India, have been 68 years of existence as a republic.
Until now, India has developed into a country with a per capita income that shown a 10-fold increase. Similarly, the decline in the poverty ratio by two-thirds, average life expectancy has more than dobel and literacy rates has shown a four-fold increase.

The success of India also runs in its economy. India is a country with the fastest economic growth among the major economies in the world. Similarly with education and technology, India became the second largest reservoir of scientific and technical manpower, the third largest army, the sixth member of the nuclear club, the sixth member in the race of space, and the ten largest industrial power.
"But we will have to learn to adjust our sails, quickly and deftly, to the wind of change," said R.O. Sunil Babu, Consulate General of India in Bali who read a speech of the President of India Shri Pranab Mukerjee on India's Republic Day celebrations 68th at the Consulate located in Renon, Denpasar.
Furthermore, it was explained that the object of the government regarding peace and war is not determined by the rules and the success of the fight, but the happiness of its people. Through the speech, Pranab Mukerjee, conveying the idea to create the prosperity of Indian society. The program is run as a series of Swachh Bharat Mission is an initiative tthat aims at a Clean India by 2nd October, 2019 to conciede with the 150th birth annoversary of Ghandhiji or Start-Up India and Atal Innovation Mission are fostering innovation and new-age entrepreneurship.
"Right at this date, we became a republic, a state based on law and able to stand alone," Sunil said when met at the end of the event.
Further, He also explained that India and Indonesia had a significant relationship. Moreover, when Indonesia was first headed by Sukarno, relations between the two countries are so closely. Like, when India's first independence celebration on January 26, 1950, Sukarno was present as guest of honor.
Sunil Babu Consul General also explained that the relations between India and Indonesia are also closely related to tourism in Bali.
"Bali is something for everyone," he said as he confirmed the number of Indians who made Bali as a favorite tourism destination.
According to him, it is not just about culture between India and Bali that almost the same, but also because of the Indian community who want to know more about Bali. For its support for tourism in Bali, He said that he was also invited Indian citizens, including students to visit this province that he calls also as the Thousand Temple Islands.
"Unfortunately there is no direct flight from India to Bali," he added.

Sunil Babu Consul General also explained that they even have a collaboration with Balinese culture. He described Kongjen India held culture dance classes. Through this, this dance class that already has students with almost 40 more, they're not only studied Indian dance, but a collaboration one. Not only that, graders which is the Balinese dance is also commonly performed in any event occasion represent the Consul General of India.
"We are trying to establish good relations with the Bali through culture," he added.
Meanwhile, over 120 Indians, persons of Indian Origin and friends of India, along with 40 school students from the Indian school, GMIS attended the function. The function was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Head of Bali Tourism Office, Anak Agung Gede Yuniartha Putra. [wrt]
